The Barricade is a group of high performance Adidas tennis shoes designed with the competitive player in mind. The newly released Barricade 7 has the latest and greatest features, building on what has proven to be a successful line. The following series are also available in the Barricade line: the 6.0, Team 2, Team and the 2.
Barricade 7
The Adidas Barricade 7 is a new generation of Barricade shoes designed for those who play at an intense level on the hard court. The adiTUFF toe guard is made of TPU, making it resistant to wear from toe dragging. This durability is duplicated in the design of the adiWEAR outsole, which is backed with a six month guarantee. For your comfort, the upper is made of perforated leather and the tongue is a mesh material, which both help the shoe to 'breathe' more and keep feet more cool and dry.
The midsole provides a well-cushioned ride with the combination of a removable EVA insole and the inclusion of adiPRENE and adiPRENE+ in the forefoot and heel areas. The TORSION system provides stability to limit foot roll.
Barricade 6
The Adidas Barricade 6 is a highly advanced series meant for those who really tear it up on the court and need a shoe that takes the abuse. The heel has a gel cushion for comfort and shock absorption. When going over the top to deliver a smash, many players tend to drag their toes and need that area reinforced to limit wear. The adiTUFF material addresses this issue nicely and is complemented further with the durable adiWEAR sole.
Barricade Team 2
The Adidas Barricade Team 2 is the latest upgrade to the Barricade Team series. While this shoe incorporates many of the features found in the Barricade 6.0 and 7.0 series, the Team 2 is a more affordable option.
