Dunlop Tennis Racquets
Dunlop manufactures four different lines of tennis racquets. Simply by choosing any Dunlop racquet, you’re assured it’s a premier-quality tennis racquet that will have a positive impact on your game.
Dunlop Aerogel 4D
Dunlop AeroGel 4D tennis racquets are made with Aerogel technology and incorporate 4D braiaded technology. The Aerogel technology Dunlop used for years was great; the 4D Aerogel racquets are even better. The 4D technology has been applied to the entire Dunlop Aerogel collection, benefiting tennis players of any skill level. With 4D braided technology, racquet stability is increased as the racquet frame features four-directional braided material at key points. It is constructed using four braided fibers of superight S-glass fiber wrapped in an aluminum alloy sheath. The degree orientations enable multi-directional stress support versus the unidirectional orientation of standard carbon sheets. What does this mean for you? One layer of 4D braiding is equal to four layers of standard carbon placed in four different orientations. By using one layer that is four times more effective than standard carbon, the 4D racquet is not as bulky and provides superb touch. The open string pattern of the Aerogel 4D racquets allows for easy topspin and smooth slices. It’s an ideal racquet for the player who desires superb touch from lighter weight found in a control-oriented racquet.
The Dunlop Aerogel tennis racquets have been made with Aerogel technology – an incredibly light metal material that grants a superior strength-to-weight ratio, capable of supporting 4000 times its own weight, for increased power. These racquets are a combination of superior power, touch, and control. Bestsellers in the Dunlop Aerogel tennis racquet collection include the Aerogel 400, Aerogel 700, and Aerogel 900
Dunlop Biomimetic Tennis Racquets
Dunlop’s Biomimetic tennis racquet line comprises a collection of five adult tennis racquets and one junior size racquet that incorporate elements from nature. Biomimetic literally translates to “mimic nature” and Dunlop has applied this concept to this line of redesigned, technologically advanced tennis racquets. At the core of the Biomimetic line are three innovative technologies: Aeroskin, HM6 Carbon, and Gecko-Tac.
Aeroskin takes its inspiration from shark skin and uses textured skin on the racquet surface, thus reducing aerodynamic drag by as much as 25% - allowing the racquet to encounter less resistance and generate greater racquet head speed, power and spin.
HM6 Carbon is designed to mimic the honeycomb – one of the strongest and most efficient architectural structures in nature. The graphite sheets are created in hexagonal sections that reduce racquet frequency and vibration up to 10%. Dunlop Biomimetic racquets use the HM6 sheets placed between layers of Aerogel , giving you greater feel, higher energy return, and more power on the court.
Gecko-Tac grips on the Biomimetic racquets are inspired by the pads on the feet of the gecko with the goal of providing more grip and tack, giving you greater control, better feel, and heightened precision. The Gecko-Tec tennis racquet grips quickly wick moisture away and are treated to give a smooth surface, leaving you with optimum feel and control.
Dunlop M Fil Racquets
Dunlop M Fil tennis racquets (Multi Filament) are 100% 3D braided Hotmelt graphite racquets constructed from a combination of carbon, e-fibre, and chromium. These materials are incorporated into the sweet spot of the racquet head, enhancing feel and control at the moment of ball contact.
