Edwards has been in the tennis court equipment manufacturing business since 1884. Edwards’ nets and posts are imported from Bridgeport, England.

After the winning the 2009 Wimbledon, Roger Federer requested the Center Court Edwards net. The All England Club presented him with the net and he told reporters at the time that he was thinking of hanging the net on the wall of his chalet in his native Switzerland.
