The Babolat Pure Drive 110 Cortex Racquet is ideal for intermediate to advanced players that are looking for the perfect combination of power and control. This racquet offers more power and spin potential than the Pure Drive MP. The open string pattern of the Pure Drive Oversize allows for more spin on both groundstrokes and serves. This racquet uses Babolat’s Woofer technology for increased contact between the ball and strings, larger sweetspot and increase control and spin. Babolat has also added the Cortex technology to this racquet, which does a good job of filtering racquet shock and vibrations while still leaving enough racquet feedback to allow the player to feel the ball. This version also places a bit more weight behind the ball, making for more stable hitting.

Ideally suited for players with moderate to full strokes.
Recommended for the 3.5+ NTRP level players.

Woofer Technology:
Woofer is the first dynamic technology which makes the frame and the strings interact when striking the ball. Woofer delivers 10% more power than conventional racquets, and ensures that the strings retain their energy longer. It enlarges the sweetspot area for every racquet size. This technology enables 25% more contact between the ball and the strings for optimal control, feel and increased spin.

The Cortex System:
The Cortex System is a revolutionary active technology between the throat and handle of the racquet. With this new technology, the two parts of the racquet are linked by an interface in CDS (Cortex Dampening System) material. This technology allows the filtering of the different vibratory modes.
