Dunlop AeroGel 4D tennis racquets are made with Aerogel technology and incorporate 4D braiaded technology. The Aerogel technology Dunlop used for years was great; the 4D Aerogel racquets are even better. The 4D technology has been applied to the entire Dunlop Aerogel collection, benefiting tennis players of any skill level. With 4D braided technology, racquet stability is increased as the racquet frame features four-directional braided material at key points. It is constructed using four braided fibers of superight S-glass fiber wrapped in an aluminum alloy sheath. The degree orientations enable multi-directional stress support versus the unidirectional orientation of standard carbon sheets. What does this mean for you? One layer of 4D braiding is equal to four layers of standard carbon placed in four different orientations. By using one layer that is four times more effective than standard carbon, the 4D racquet is not as bulky and provides superb touch. Dunlop’s Biomimetic tennis racquet line comprises a collection of five adult tennis racquets and one junior size racquet that incorporate elements from nature.
