Fischer M Pro No. 1 (105), UL
The Fischer M Pro No. 1 is geared toward the tournament player or the ambitious recreational player. The 105 sq. inch head contains Magnetic Speed technology, which offers the perfect combination of ball acceleration and control for perfectly consistent hits in any situation. UL version.
Ideally suited for players with aggressive, long strokes.
Recommended for the 4.5+ NTRP level players.
Magnetic Speed Technology: Normally, when the ball impacts the string bed the racquet frame bows in on both sides, temporarily deforming the racquet. Most frames regain their shape soon after the ball leaves the strings. With Magnetic Speed, the frame reverts back to its original shape faster, creating a catapult effect that generates more pace than with traditional frames. Unipolar magnets placed on opposite sides of the head repel each other, snapping the frame back into its original shape at a much faster rate. M-Speed Technology helps the player generate more power than could be generated from competitor frames while maintaining playability and feel.

Finally found a raquet I can play with. My 1987 Prince [graphite?] Response finally hit the dust, so it's taken some time finding a new one. As you can imagine with that type of raquet, I had developed a fast swing (still working on serve and backhand to match the swing however...)
Have only played a few times per year on average since high school (15 years ago) so getting back to my game; I'm 3.5 to 4 now and will end up close to 4.5 in a year or so is my guess. So many of todays raquets are just too overpowered. Went through Crossbow 6 (terrible), 03 Hybrid Light (slightly better), K-zen (to heavy), then You-tek light (playable). I found that tennis.com raquet finder is incredible and you can see how power, flex, weight, twist-weight, etc. compare. I knew I would like this raquet before I even got it! Control may be a little bit off of what I was used to, but that could be expected when compared to a graphite raquet (or maybe it's just my age and lack of playing for awhile). Will try Agassi's you-teck radical os at some point.
