The incredible successful "6", now has the new Flexpoint Technology. HEAD's newest technology features two precisely engineered control holes in the racquet's head. This creates a new "flexpoint", which cups the ball and offers players the ulimate in control. This powerful midplus provided easy handling, great maneuverability and a great blend of power and control for an intermediate player. The Flexpoint 6 midplus is similar to the oversized in that it has an open string pattern, which allows for enhanced spin and a larger sweetspot. However, the midplus is a more control oriented racquet compared to the oversized.

Ideally suited for players with moderate to full strokes. Recommended for the 3.0-4.5 NTRP level players.

Liquidmetal Technology: Liquidmetal material is applied to four strategic areas of the racquet’s head and it is the only material that utilizes all the energy your swing generates. No energy is lost on ball impact due to its liquid atomic structure.

Hole+Dimple=Flexpoint: These two precisely engineered holes, positioned at 3 and 9 o'clock on the racquet head, work together to bring power in control. The dimple is engineered to create flexibility by reducing beam height by a maximum of 25%. The hole reduces sectional stiffness up to 50%. The hole and dimple allow a player to harness maximum power and control it.

The Flexpoint 6 is an excellent choice for a Beginner/Intermediate player. It feels pretty solid when it makes contact with the ball and you can feel a difference in control by slightly adjusting your grip. The 6 is a little heavier than other racquets out there, but it still feels pretty fast. I am very satisfied with the product and totally would reccomend it.

I have only played two matches with my new Head Flexpoint 6 Midplus but my initial reaction is very favorable. Slightly head heavier than my old Prince seems to suit my style and rating (mens 3.0). Also, the factory grip works well under sweaty conditions. Looking forward to many more matches with this affordable yet productive racket.
