The Head MicroGel Instinct Tennis Racquet is the successor to the popular Flexpoint Instinct in the Head MicroGel series. The MicroGel Instinct racket offers a nicely controlled feel thanks to its 100 square inch head and dense 18x19 string pattern, yet is more maneuverable than most players racquets, thanks to a lighter static weight. Slightly more powerful than the MicroGel Radical frames. This racquet is designed for aggressive players with longer, faster swing styles with a fresh young look. Ideally suited for players with semi-full to full strokes. Recommended for the 4.5+ NTRP level players.

MicroGEL Technology: MicroGEL is a revolutionary silicone based material with the lowest density of any solid known on the planet. This incredible "Super Material" weighs only about 3mg per cubic centimeter, but is able to support up to 4,000 times it's own weight. HEAD has combined MicroGEL with stiff and strong carbon composite fibers to create a racquet with incredible responsive qualities. On ball impact, HEAD MicroGEL uniformly distributes the impact load around the frame circumference providing a rock solid feel and unique touch that has to be experienced to be believed.
