The Prince Ozone 1 is an update to the Prince O3 Silver and features one of the most generous sweetspots offered in the Prince racquet line thanks to the use of O-Ports that generates a livelier response across the entire string bed. Prince enhances the sweetspot with Carbon Wave Matrix Construction, in which Prince layers the graphite fibers in a wave pattern. This wave pattern complements the angular orientation of the other graphite layers, offering superior power versus traditional graphite contruction techniques.

With a 118 square inch head size and a Prince Power Level of 1500, the Ozone 1 is the most powerful option in the Ozone series. Nicely damped feel, with a generous sweetspot and very maneuverable at the net as well. Overall, the Ozone 1 is a great racquet for players that are looking for a lightweight, yet explosive weapon on the tennis court.

I'm an older player (69) with wrist problems. I've been reluctant to change from a 90's style graphite Prince to anything lighter until I tried the Ozone One at my club in Prescott, AZ. The Ozone One is a light weight racquet with an over sized head and an amazingly large sweet spot. I hit with a club demo 3 or 4 times before ordering it from Do it Tennis. The Fellow I spoke to on the phone helped me select the type of string (we settled on Prince LT Premier 16 g strings) with a string tension of 59. With the Ozone One I'm hitting harder and more accurate forehand shots but my back hand slice is amazing with more speed and much more kick. This is a racquet I'd strongly recommend to older players who use placement, spin and guile over power. And a special thanks to Do IT Tennis for helping me select the right tension and string gauge and for being so helpful.
