The Catapult 4 from Volkl is the perfect answer for Catapult fans who are looking for a more traditional round Volkl head shape, which is 27.5 inches in length versus 27.75 inches. These characteristics combines with 8 grommets of Catapult springs at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions, produce a perfect blend of power and control for this player type. The geometry of the Catapult 4 spring is consistent with the Catapult 1,2, and 3 which has both a power phase and a control phase. This spring construction translates into 30% more power and 30% more control for technically advanced players who demand the perfect balance for their game.

Ideally suited for players with medium, powerful strokes. Recommended for the 3.0-4.5 NTRP level players.

Catapult Technology:The catapult technology is based around a spring constructed out of Lite-Carbon and High-Modulus Carbon. The Catapult rests freely on the racquet frame and is activated, or “pre-loaded”, when the strings are installed.

Sensor Handle System:A new dimension in shock and vibration dampening thanks to a perfect blend of high-tech materials. Two-part racquet shaft and TechnoGel® provide ideal shock dampening. The EVA, which surrounds the shaft, offers optimal vibration dampening.
