This racket is solid! Everything you do with this racket feels crisp, clean, and responsive! Once you get used to the smaller head size and can consistently hit the sweet spot, every shot feels like butter! Players that are just beginning may have a difficult time with the weight and balance of the racket. You definitely need more refined strokes to wield this heavier players frame. I found it to be pretty string-centric also and I keep mine strung with Volkl Cyclone 18g at 55 pounds. If you are a strong 4.0 and above, give this sweet frame a try!

Improved my game and saved my arm
After back to back shoulder and elbow injury, I had to finally let go of the trusty but stiff APD and APDGT. Went through half dozen rackets in succession in a span of 6 months. There is no demo program where I live so it was not trivial in cost... Through the journey, I moved slowly towards heavier, more flexible rackets and my game adapted as well. Finally settled on this wonderful stick. It is heavy but manageable and extremely comfortable. There is a nice plush feel of concentrated power from the small head but pleasantly surprised that sweet spot is not too small despite the 93 inch size. Maybe it's the egg shape. Good power and depth. Spin is there but not crazy amount of it. Doit Tennis is one of the few stores that still carry the older stock, which is great find for me. =) I can't recommend it to everyone but if you can swing accurately and have arm issues, this is definitely one to consider.

I bought this racket without a demo and I am glad I did. I have had my eye on this racquet for a while as I was looking for a quality mid-sized frame that was also arm-friendly. I am very pleased with it. It very solid and stable from the baseline, great for top spin but you can also flatten it out. Where it really shines is at net. Great volleying racquet with tons of feel. On serve I have found it is helping my kick second serve as well as my flat first delivery. The other benefit of playing with this racket is that it is kind on the arm. I have it strung with Volkl Synthetic Gut at 55 lbs and you get the right balance of comfort and performance. All in all, a great players racquet and highly recommended.
Great Players Racquet
This is a very solid frame. I switched from the Dunlop Aerogel 4d 100. It does take awhile to get used to the added weight but now I don't have to take as big of a cut to generate the same amount of pace. The racquet has great access to power and spin. Would recommend to anyone who has good form on their strokes and can wield a heavier racquet.
Was looking for an arm friendly racquet and also wanted to test out the racquet everyone spoke so highly about. This racquet did not disappoint me. I had a little difficult time at the beginning since I had been playing with a lighter racquet but it didn't take long to get use to the PB10 mid's weight. My elbow pain is gone now and I play much better. I highly recommend this racquet.
Volkl Power Bridge 10 Mid Tennis Racquet
Amazing racquet for a solid player. I was little hesitant at first because of the weight but as I pay more I found out that it plays lighter.
I highly recommend this if you are looking for an arm friendly and a solid racquet.
Game changing racket
I'm a university level player and previously I used Babolat APDGT, Wilson KFactor 95, and Wilson BLX Blade 98. one aspect that i really need to improve is the second serve and this racket came across my mind. I decided to give it a try, and I have never serve with such confidence before, even on a big point! the racket head speed is really up a notch than the rackets I previously used. As expected from Volkl, the racket really feels comfortable on the arm. The ball lands inside the court even when you hit off center. This racket will put you in command of the game, topspin, flat, volley, serve, overhead, this racket can do it all, and it will do it, BRILLIANTLY!!
This is a solid player's racquet. I used it with cyclone 16 strung at 50lbs. I probably can increase the tension to 52 to suit my play. This racquet provides you great feel, control, and ball placement capability. All intermediate/advanced players should demo this racquet, hit with it for ~20 hours, you might just find the perfect racquet you've been looking for.
Mind you, this racquet is not for beginners. Player swill full swing will definitely find great placement ability with this racquet.
I bought them without testing but i'm using the voelkl PB 10 325, with co-poly, which i really like. i strung my new PB10 mid with voelkl cyclone 18 21/20 and just love it. it doesn't have the power of the midplus but the feel is much better and i can place the ball more precise. at net the racquet is rock solid, i can volley any ball event those with high pace. i will string the 2nd in hybrid in order to find the ideal setup and review later. voelkl has done great job with this frame.
Love this racquet!!!!
A year ago, I demoed this racquet and did not fall in love at that time. It felt too flexible and a bit heavy. So I got Wilson BLX Pro staff 95 instead and have been enjoying them. And then I moved onto Wilson BLX PS 90 tour and felt I could handle the heavy frame and more confidence on my strokes. So I wanted to try PB10 again. Once I demo PB10 mid, I instantly fell in love with it!! It just makes me play awesome shots!! I am a old school type with one hand backhand. So I got a PB10 from Do it tennis. The ground strokes from both sides are powerful and controllable. Slices are great too. If I want put some spin on the ball, I can do easily with a nice feeling plow-through. And the Volley, AWESOME!
For serve, you can easily swing out flat or kick serve, due to the headlight balance.
After changing the grip with Attiva pallet, I couldn't be happier.
This is one of the best racquet I have used. It is well balanced and has the right amount of weight for a good plow through and still managed to be very maneuverable. I also have the Volkl PB 10 light and they play similarly but the mid is more to my liking as the extra weight made the racquet very stable and produced heavier shots compared to the light version. PB 10 mid is an instant classic.
I've been using the power bridge 9 which has been a half decent frame and doing the job for me (I've played Open level tennis and now find myself down to once or twice a week at best. At any rate, I know that once you find a frame that works for you, stick with it. The PB 9 are good but lack the weight that the PB 10 offers. The balance is perfect and the feeling is rock solid.
The PB 10 is one of those 'players' frames that offers the touch, feel and oomph for your shots if you've been playing for a while. Nice!
The best racket that I played.
Good swing, weight.
You have power and control with this one.
Not for begginers.
After a few months with my racquet of choice, I felt it only right to give it a review.
The amount of spin you can generate with this racquet is enormous on slices and kicks. One can really place the ball where ever they wanted in the service box.
Serve Returns: 8.8
The returns were sadly the only part I did not like, you really had to hit the return square on the racquet to generate any pace. Shanking is pretty common with lackluster focus but with proper footwork and timing it can be returned well. Just don\'t expect this racquet to return for you (i.e. Aeropro Drive, extreme pro etc.)
The groundies could be likened to a scalpel where each well timed stroke and mechanically sound technique rewards the player with the utmost control and effortless power. Once again though, without such preparation this racquet will be shank city.
I think this is where the racquet outshined all others by sheer touch and feel. The ability to absorb pace and hit a soft drop volley was outstanding! I can\'t say enough about this racquet at net. The only downside is the heft of the racquet and it\'s ability to be maneuverable is less to be desired, but once again it comes down to early preparation and sound mechanics.
Hands down the best racquet for my all court game. It\'s worth the shot for those 4.5+ but be wary of the needs of this racquet. One must be physically fit to wield such a beast, a heavier racquet requires sound footwork and stroke mechanics.
I feel able to achieve power from this racquet better than any other racquet that I have played yet. Despite its 12.1 oz weight, it was very easy to swing. I could play with this racquet all day long. What I liked most was the stability, plow through and lightweight feel. The feel from this racquet at net was incredible for me.
What an amazing racket! It forces you to play better tennis! You do need solid ground strokes to wield it. Extremely comfortable, excellent control, and power (your own power!). If you're a top spin hitter, you'll love this stick.
Still toward the end of my learning curve after nearly 20 hrs on the court, however the first time I picked this stick up I was able to hit my groundstrokes, serve returns and volleys with ease. My serve was a bit of a challenge, but after four or five practice runs on the court I was able to get a good feel for it. The comfort, control are excellent and the touch and feel of this stick are approaching godliness. The only thing I needed to adjust to was the weight and extra power of the racket as I had just switch from my LM Radical MP. Also this stick makes you play better tennis, because if you do not pay full attention to the ball and your mechanics it will punish you...The rewards for good play are endless!
