Wilson BLX Five 103 (Used) (Model #wrt7101-used)

Rating: 8 out of 10!

A lightly used racquet with a few scratches and smudges along the bumperguard and frame, ball fuzz on the strings yet still retains competitive racquet characteristics. Comes strung with Wilson poly/ synthetic gut hybrid 16g at mid range.

The Wilson BLX Five 103 is the new updated version of the ever-versatile Wilson K Five, combining the power of BLX and the comfort of Triad with a more flexible, controlled beam. The BLX Five still suits a wide variety of playing styles and ability levels, but has enhanced feel with added power for players who need some extra “Pop” from the baseline or at the net. Articulated Grommet Technology at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions on the frame permit extraordinary string movement for added forgiveness and sweetspot. Offering a 103 square inch headsize, the BLX Five delivers an arm-friendly yet powerful option in the BLX line.

Ideally suited for players with medium, powerful strokes.Recommended for the 3.0-4.5 NTRP level players.

Basalt: Basalt is a natural volcanic rock. It can be used in manufacturing where it is made into fine gold fibers with incredible vibration resistance. Wilson's new technology, BLX, has used these basalt fibers and woven them longitudinally with [K]arophite Black to create one of the most advanced composites in the industry.

With basalt, a smoother signal reaches the hand. BLX technology delivers clean feedback and better sensation for the Perfect Feel.

Linear Geometry: New frame technology providing up to 35% more overall stability compared to a classic beam construction.

AGT: Articulated Grommet Technology allows an extraordinary 76 degrees of string movement.
