Yonex RQiS 1 Tour
Racquet of choice for Lleyton Hewitt! The RQiS 1 Tour is another solid player's racquet from Yonex. With a crisp response, this racquet has a little extra pop and a firmer feel than the RDS 001. The mobility is excellent for a player's racquet. Also, the Elastic Ti technology gives players more power, control and a nice sweet spot without increasing frame dimensions.
Ideally suited for players with aggressive, long strokes. Recommended for the 5.0-7.0 NTRP level players.
Elastic Ti Technology:
Elastic Ti is loaded into the frame sides. "Elastic Ti" is the world's first nanoscale alloy that combines extremely low elasticity and high strength. It was previously thought to be impossible to achieve this with an alloy. Elastic Ti has 44% lower elasticity and 8% higher strength compared to the previous best titanium alloy. Racquets featuring Elastic Ti will snap-back quicker than conventional racquets to give higher repulsion power with accurate resiliency for improved face stability. These two effects mean that greater ball speed and control are realized.
DUAL 3D Stabilizer:
By weaving the carbon fibers into triaxial direction, the pulling strength will be equalized in triaxial direction. It will increase its strength from twisting. + 3D Shaft By embossing the shaft sides in surf board shape, the shaft will be stronger, and prevents the shaft from twisting.
12% Control performance UP
Super Cushion Grip:
The cushioned underside layer of the YONEX Super Cushion Grip reduces vibration, further enhancing the soft feel at impact provided by Shockless Grommets. Cushioning performance also helps protect the wrist, arm and elbow against shock-related injuries.

RQIS 1 Tour IS a control racket.
This racket is for advanced players who can generate their own power and control a racket perfectly. Definitely a good choice for defensive players and volley-ers. I myself am an aggressive player and although this racket may not be able to pack unbelievably fast drives, it will go at a extremely accurate and go as fast as you wish to generate it. Many users along with myself felt this decline in power and many have complained. I sometimes argue with inner conscience if getting a power racket like a babolat would have been a better choice. But I for one am a yonex fan and I love this racket. If you are considering purchasing this racket, please do demo it first. If you slightly do not like the lack of power at first, just string it at a lower tension and it will begin to feel much better. I personally love this racket because of my new added control. As a mostly doubles player on a high school varsity team, this racket helps me achieve victories from all around the court with precision aim and high maneuverability. I have learned to generate my own power for the times that I wish to play singles. This is the perfect choice for those who have mastered control and self generated power or those who are learning to achieve that.
