A large sweetspot also makes this one of the more forgiving control oriented 'tweener racquets currently available. The Isometric technology gives players more power, control and a huge sweet spot without increasing frame dimensions.

Ideally suited for players with moderate, powerful strokes.
Recommended for the 4.0+ NTRP level players.

Isometric Technology: With more strings of equal length and a larger effective hitting area in the stringbed, the Isometric Square Head Shape provides consistently accurate shots, giving more power, control and more effective off-center hits.

Flew Control Shaft by Elastic Ti Technology: Elastic Ti delivers the performance players have long wanted in a frame - high elasticity and high strength together. Moulded into the shaft, the Elastic Ti shaft overcomes the limitations of conventional frame matericals. With its powerful rebound effect, a split second after impact and deflection, the Elastic Ti frame snaps back to its original shape with high accuracy and with the full energy of the swing.

Shockless Grommet Technology: The soft grommets are located at the 4 corners of the frame. These grommets are designed to reduce the shock from any off-center hits, widening the sweet spot even further.

Muscle Power Technology: Extra frame durability and reduced string vibration for a solid feel on impact are attained by "rounding-off the corners" with Muscle Power Technology. You will get up to 10% more spin and up to 7% more ball speed

Here's the rocking scoop on this awesome stick. At net the Yonex RDS 003 is quick and nimble. The extra 1/4" feels quite natural and is not a liability as it is with many racquets measuring above 27". The frame is very comfortable, even with a full co-polymer set-up, but the stiffness is perfect for generating crisp and powerful volleys. Power and touch on command. The Yonex RDS 003 rocks out in doubles matches. There is plenty of spin, control and power upon demand when serving. This versatile racquet does it all from the service line. Rockin' onward, the 003 is an awesome returning weapon. Whether slicing or blocking back heavy serves or attacking weaker serves, this racquet offers a terrific blend of power and control. Off the ground, you will find it all. Spin, slice, power and control. It's all there. Surprisingly for a lighter weight racquet it plays stable and does not get knocked around by heavy hitters. The Yonex RDS 003 is a hidden gem. It shines brightly in the world of tweener sticks. It's an incredibly well constructed and great looking weapon of war. In short, it rocks!
