The Babolat Propulse 2 is Andy Roddick's new performance tennis shoe and features several new technologies. Foot Belt provides tailor-made four-point foot support. Improved court propulsion thanks to the use of Babolat Exact Pro technology. Durable, cushioned, and stable, the Propulse is a solid all-around choice. In keeping with French tradition, Babolat uses a new OCS outsole made by Michelin to provide enhanced traction without sacrificing durability.

Upper: Durable TPU with air mesh vents in the toe drag area provides breathable durability. Padded air mesh tongue maximizes breathability. Padded heel collar maximizes comfort. Foot Belt technology provides precise, adjustable foot support. The Foot Belt addresses the four foot support criteria: heel support, ankle support, arch/instep support and a tailor made fit. Two independently adjustable straps, one across the midfoot and one around the heel, allow for high precision adjustments and a tailor made fit. The front strap provides powerful instep support. Two side hoop straps reinforce ankle support. Ergonomic TPU counters at the heel allow an even distribution of the pressure exerted on the back strap, providing strong heel support.

Midsole: Exact Pro technology in the midsole gives you dynamic propulsion with each and every step. This generates a dynamic impulse not just each time you want to accelerate, but with every step you take. It will improve all aspects of your game including faster footwork, better reactivity and tighter, more precise and efficient footwork. Removable Ortholite® comfort foam hygienic insole. Vibrakill provides comfort and dynamism in a shock absorber specifically engineered for tennis. While maintaining exceptional comfort, the Vibrakill system promotes quicker recovery because of its optimal capacity for energy restitution.

Outsole: Michelin OCS outsole with Michelin High Tech Sole engineering. This innovative formula gives you even greater durability. Designed specifically for the Propulse, this outsole is 40% more resistant to wear and tear than any other shoe on the market today. The new OCS (Optimized Cell System) consists of micro capsules that optimize energy renewal. Seamless circular micro-cells, directly inspired by road racing equipment, optimize traction by having 20% more surface contact and restore energy during the compression-and-release phase.
