Babolat Pure Aero Plus Tennis Racquet (Model #101356-191)

BABOLAT PURE AERO PLUS (+) 2019 PERFORMANCE TENNIS RACKET - THE BEST RACQUET FOR SPIN AND POWER

Babolat's Pure Aero Plus (+) 2019 is an extended (27.5 inches) version of the now iconic spin machine known as the Pure Aero.  The extra half inch provides more pop on serves, returns, and groundstrokes. Made popular by Rafael Nadal and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, this newest edition for 2019 has an amazing update to the cosmetics and the flex of the frame was lowered ever so slightly in response to players asking for a more controlled response in a frame that is a bit more arm friendly as well.  Babolat also repositioned the Cortex dampening material to 3 & 9 o'clock, which gives this player's stick a softer feel on impact.  The stiffness is still on the firmer side at 68 points, and leaves your arm and body with extra energy going into the 2nd and 3rd sets.

The 2019 version of the Pure Aero Plus (+) 2019 still has a 100 square inch head, comes strung at 11.3 ounces - a good weight that delivers more plow-through on off-centered shots - and naturally retained the spin-generating 16x19 string pattern.  The FSI Spin Technology, or wider spacing of the strings at 6 & 12 o'clock, allows for maximum string movement, and thus, snapback, which propels the strings upward, creating mass RPS (Revolutions Per Second - aka SPIN!). The Aeromodular 3 shape of the frame was strategically engineered to reduce wind drag, resuling in faster swing speed.  This provides ample access to the speed and power advanced baseline players are after when hitting deep, penetrating shots with heavy, heavy topspin.

It truly is a spin machine!

Suited for intermediate to advanced players with full strokes looking for heavy spin.
