Adidas Barricade - Miami Edition

Just in time for the summer, Adidas has come out with a special artist-edition of the Barricade tennis shoes in 2015.  These tennis shoes are the essence of South Beach Florida, and such a blast from the past. They have a cool color scheme incorporating blues and purples on a background of a shiny black color. They are a cross between tribal and geometric patterns, and are topped with a pink flamingo on the tongue of the shoe. They also come with interchangeable laces - one set is the teal blue color from the shoe and the other set of laces carries the print featured on the shoe.

Besides being a collectable, this pair of shoes is also comfortable and comes through in high-performance settings. These tennis shoes outperform many of the tennis shoes currently on the market.  They score high marks in various key qualities.

The upper part on the Barricade Miami edition is breathable, and your feet shouldn’t ever feel overheated. It is also soft so you won’t get that unwanted rubbing which can cause blisters. Even the tongue of the shoes has extra ventilation, along with padding for comfort.

Your arches will feel supported with the shoes medium arch and Adiprene midsole. The Adiprene midsole absorbs the shock and pounding on your knees and joints from the tennis court. The Barricade 2015 are also perhaps the most stable tennis shoes currently on the market.

Not only will your feet feel highly supported, but also equally secure in these tennis shoes. From heel to toe these tennis shoes will fit well on most tennis players. The heel has a supportive heel counter and a heel claw, and the toe guard has extra durability. The midfoot has a slightly tighter fit, but that translates into a more secure feeling and prevents your feet from slipping around. The Barricade 2015 can be worn right out of the box and needs minimal break-in.

The outsole is very durable and allows for just the right amount of stick and slip. It has a more wear-resistant rubber in the areas that take more of a beating. It’s covered by a six month durability guarantee so you can feel extra confident your tennis shoes won’t wear out. The only noticeable bad quality is this shoe’s weight. With all of these features packed onto each shoe, of course they will weigh a little more. Some people do say it is too bulky, but I still feel like it is relatively light considering all the stability and durability.

I highly recommend trying these tennis shoes out. They’ll be your new favorite, if not already. If you want some more info, check out our brief video review of the 2015 Adidas Barricade-Miami Edition.
