K-Swiss Ultrascendor Tennis Shoes

Setting International Tennis Shoe Trends Since 1966
The K-Swiss “Classic” leather tennis shoe made its debut at Wimbledon in 1966. Now almost 50 years later, it continues to produce trendsetting tennis shoes and K-Swiss tennis apparel worn by top athletes around the world—including the highly popular K-Swiss Ultrascendor tennis shoe line—which was awarded the 2013 "Editor's Choice" by TENNIS Magazine.
K-Swiss Ultrascendor Elevates Game Play
The K-Swiss Ultrascendor shoe provides a skeletalized two-piece outsole with exposed EVA technology for ultimate support and comfort. Classic K-Swiss fit and function makes the Ultrascendor shoe a must-have for tournament players.
Other design features of the K-Swiss Ultrascendor include:
• Aosta II high-density 7.0 solid rubber outsole with wavebone tread pattern for abrasion resistance.
• Durawrap technology for extra durability in high-wear areas.
• TPU Cushion Board construction for lightweight, but firm support.
• Shock Spring layers in the heel and forefoot for increased cushioning.
• Helcor Toe Wrap to prevent excessive toe-dragging.
How to Select the Best K-Swiss Ultrascendor Shoe
Here are 2 easy steps on how to select the best K-Swiss Ultrascendor shoe for your style and performance level.
Use the Rule of Thumb
When trying on K-Swiss Ultrascendor shoes, there should be 3/8-1/2 inch between the front of your big toe and the end of the shoe—about a thumb's width. The heel should fit snug, and your heel should not slip or slide—you can test this by jumping up and down.
Know Your Foot
K-Swiss Ultrascendor shoes come in a variety of models, including K-Swiss Ultrascendor Mid and K-Swiss Ultrascendor II, to accommodate different foot shapes.
A quick way to determine your foot's shape is to do a "wet test" –wet your foot, step on a flat surface that will reflect the imprint such as concrete, and trace your footprint.
If your footprint shows the entire sole of your foot with little to no curve on the inside, you have low arches. Select a K-Swiss tennis shoe with motion-control for maximum support.
If your footprint shows a portion of your forefoot and heel, you have high arches. Select a cushioned shoe with a soft midsole.
If your footprint has a distinct curve along the inside, you have a neutral arch. A neutral-arched foot can usually fit comfortably in any shoe.
