The Barricade is a group of high performance Adidas tennis shoes designed with the competitive player in mind. They include Barricade with Boost™ technology, the highly advanced Barricade, traditional Barricade Classic V, Barricade Classic V with Bounce ™ and the legendary Barricade Team models.

Adidas Boost™ Tennis Shoe Technology

The Adidas Barricade tennis shoes with Boost™ offer comfort, a responsive ride and all the features of the Barricade line. Expanded TPU capsules make up the shoe’s distinctive heel midsole. With their unique cell structure, Boost™ capsules store and unleash energy more efficiently in every stride. The newer models include Boost™ in the heel contour, which delivers the ultimate in energy return. It also minimizes jolting to the heel that comes when you bottom out and slam your foot down too hard on the court.

You can get the Boost™ advantage both in men’s and women’s models, including the stylish women’s models designed by fashion icon Stella McCartney.

Adidas Barricade Tennis Shoes

The advanced Adidas Barricade is designed for those who play at an intense level on the hard court.

A lightweight TPU skin is bonded to a mesh that provides optimal comfort, breathability and enhanced durability Zona adiTUFF™ provides flexible and articulated drag protection. The adiTUFF toe guard is made of TPU, making it resistant to wear from toe dragging. Durability is reinforced in the design of the adiWEAR outsole, which is backed with a 6-month guarantee.

For comfort, perforated leather across the toe and ballistic mesh material on the tongue, both help the shoe to breathe more and keep feet cool and dry. The midsole provides a well-cushioned ride with the combination of a removable EVA insole and the inclusion of adiPRENE and adiPRENE+ in the forefoot and heel areas. The TORSION® system provides stability to limit foot roll.

Barricade Classic Tennis Shoes

Barricade Classic V tennis shoes are durable and supportive for ultimate comfort on the court. These Adidas tennis shoes retain a perfect blend of durability, cushioning, and support while still maintaining their reputation as the lightest in the Barricade family. These classic good looks are paired with modern capabilities like exceptional grip and a highly shock absorbent midsole.

Uppers are made of breathable mesh, have a padded tongue and heel collar enhance instep comfort. adiPRENE® is a highly shock absorbent material that cushions and protects your heel at impact. The adiPRENE®+ resilient cushioning is used to protect the forefoot and provide a responsive, dynamic toe-off.

TORSION® System in the midsole provides adaptive midfoot support. Stability features on the lateral sides are built for quick cuts and fast footwork. The adiWEAR® 6 outsole offers optimal high-wear durability with a 6-month guarantee

Several of the Barricade Classic V modelsfeature BOUNCE™ midsole technology to cushion every step you take, so you can play more comfortably. Bounce™ features higher cushioning and comfort than regular midsole material for maximum cushioning and an immediate step-in comfort effect.

An aggressive tennis legend, the Barricade Team Adidas tennis shoes are a fourth generation model built with a breathable, lightweight mesh upper.
