Yonex tennis racquets came on the scene in 1957. Along with producing world-class tennis racquets Yonex now offers string, bags, apparel and shoes.
Yonex tennis racquets sport a unique blend of features such as the ISOMETRIC head shape, I.P.S., 3D Vector Shaft and O.P.S. technologies.
The ISOMETRIC head shape of Yonex tennis racquets, created in 1980, is a unique and evolutionary breakthrough technology in racquet design. In conventional racquets, the sweet spot is located where main strings and cross strings meet. The Yonex tennis racquet ISOMETRIC head shape allows us to increase the number of main and cross strings that meet in the center of the racquet to produce a sweet spot which gives a 7% more effective hitting area for you to make match winning shots.
The Integrated Power Weight System (I.P.S.) technology places weight at the 3 and 9 o’clock positions of the Yonex tennis racquet frame to give the face a greater moment of inertia.
The deeper grooves in the 3D Vector Shaft improve racquet stiffness and reduce twisting of the frame for 20% more face stability than a conventional racquet, delivering precise control at impact and greater bite for the most efficient transfer of power.
The Oval Pressed Shaft (O.P.S.) manufacturing technology builds the ideal amount of shaft flex at impact into the racquet, extending dwell time for enhanced ball spin and directional control.
E-Zone Xi
The E-Zone Xi series of Yonex tennis racquets are the first Yonex frames to offer Extra Isometric technology for an even bigger sweet spot, reduced vibration and more power! Additionally, the Quad Power System provides excellent stiffness and vibration dampening by incorporating Neo Fade material in the four corners of this frame's head. This frame even has a new handle technology called SD Grid (Shock Dampening Grid). The grid is inserted inside the shaft between the two tubes of the grip in order to absorb vibrations for a much more comfortable and powerful experience.
V Core
The V Core series of Yonex tennis racquets includes the V Core Tour 97, the Yonex tennis racquet of choice by touring pro Stanislas Wawrinka. From heavy weight power hitters to players who prefer a lightweight frame for a more effortless swing, there is a V Core style of racquet to fit every style of play.
