Asics Tennis Shoes

Asics tennis shoes were made to not only protect the feet but the body as a whole, including the mind. The name “Asics” is an acronym for the Latin phrase Anima Sana In Corpore Sano which translates into “a sound mind in a sound body.” The understanding of the connection between the mind and body has helped Asics produce tennis shoes for all types of athletes. For tennis players in particular, the all-court tennis shoe collection was developed to complement diverse tennis surfaces; such as synthetic hard court, grass, and clay.
Asics Tennis Shoe Technologies
Asics tennis shoes come complete with the latest technologies for optimum support and cushioning on both their Gel-Resolution 4 and Gel-Solution Speed styles include; P.H.F. (Personal Heel Fit), I.G.S.® (Impact Guidance System), AHAR® (ASICS High Abrasion Rubber), PGuard™ Toe Protector, and Solyte® Midsole Material. Asics tennis shoes are guaranteed against excessive outsole wear for up to 6 months.
Gel-Resolution
The Gel-Resolution is the flagship of the Asics tennis shoe line. This shoe has been updated and now features a form-fitting Flexion Fit™ upper and the GEL® Cushioning System® technology, alleviating shock. The latest Gel-Resolution also employs the Trusstic System® which effectively lowers the weight of the sole without sacrificing stability. The P.H.F.® (Personal Heel Fit) allows the shoe to mold to the player`s heel and the Asics AHAR® material is implemented at key points throughout the outsole for an even more durable tennis shoe.
Gel-Solution Speed
Elite players will revel in the new lightweight upper, the GEL® Cushioning System in heel and forefoot, the elite level support of Flexion Fit™, and the grip of the AHAR® outsole. The Gel-Solution Speed line of Asics tennis shoes are super lightweight, but maintain the same durability, stability and cushioning you can expect from an Asics tennis shoe. The Gel-Solution Speed tennis shoes are also designed with the PGuard™ Toe Protector, P.H.F.® (Personal Heel Fit), Trusstic System® and the lightweight Solyte® Midsole Material, making this tennis shoe ideal for a serious competitor.
Challenger
The new GEL-Challenger® series provides exceptional comfort with Rearfoot and Forefoot GEL® Cushioning Systems. Outstanding stability is achieved via the Lateral Propulsion Trusstic® System while the excellent upper fit is addressed with P.H.F.™ in the collar. The new re-designed upper emphasizes midfoot support through the use of an extended Flexion Fit® forefoot and synthetic leather midfoot brace for improved stability. A perfect choice for that everyday tennis enthusiast.
Junior
The Junior Asics tennis shoe lines offer outstanding upper flexibility and performance while continuing the tradition of supreme support and cushioning offered in an all around court performance level junior tennis shoe. Younger players can get version of durable tennis shoes both in the Gel-Resolution and the Gel-Solution Speed models.
In 1949, Mr. Kihachiro Onitsuka began his athletic footwear company (Onitsuka Co., Ltd.) by manufacturing basketball shoes out of his living room in Kobe, Japan. He chose the name ASICS for his company in 1977. ASICS was founded on the belief that the best way to create a healthy and happy lifestyle is to promote total health and fitness.
ASICS products were introduced to the United States in 1977 and brought with them an incredible story of athletic performance and technical advancements, a philosophy which still holds true today.
