Tennis Racquet Frame Composition

Volkl Tennis Racquet Frame Technology - DNX Material

DNX Material
Due to the use of DNX material, the frame remains stable on every stroke. There is minimal distortion in the key areas of the racquet frame. The result is less energy loss, which in turn, results in more power.

DNX is positioned on the sides of the racquet head and provides increased torsional resistance for improved ball control, especially on off-center shots.

Volkl Tennis Racquet Frame Technology - Organix Material

Organix
Organix is a high technology carbon nanotube, surrounded by cellulose fibers that give your tennis racquet a springboard effect. Organix loads up with kinetic energy during ball/racquet impact and immediately returns it back to launch the ball off the string bed.

Due to its extraordinary vibration-absorbing properties, Organix gives your game 30% more dynamic power and handling.

Racquet String Bed

Super G
Speed Grommets + V-Sponse Material = Super Grommet. More control through extended receive time, which in-turn increases the sweetspot, providing more speed and better every return.

Volkl Tennis Racquet String Bed Technology - Optispot

Optispot
Optispot is a visual support to hit the ball in the center of the sweet spot. It is a highly visual and contrasting optic field that helps the eye to focus on the hitting zone and keep your attention on the ball. Elements of the same color shape to size, will be seen as one.

With optispot technology, the contrast between colors on the tennis racquet, will form a visual center, allowing you to focus on the center of the string-bed and pay closer attention to the ball.

Catapult effect
Volkl Tennis Racquet String Bed Technology - Catapult Effect With the tennis racquet Catapult effect technology, the ball is accelerated with 30% more power and 30% more control - even for balls that hit outside the sweetspot.

The Catapult springs allow for a deeper string-bed pocket upon impact, then at the precise moment the ball leaves the strings, they return to their original state - delivering more power.

V-Sponse
An exclusive Völkl-patented grommet and grip-dampening material and tennis racquet technology. V-Sponse is a visco elastic-electric polymeric material, similar to sorbathane, now used in our patented super grommet and bio-feel grip-dampening pin. V-Sponse is 20% more flexible than Volkl’s standard grommet and pin material. V-Sponse provides additional dampening in the grip and generates an increased spring effect in the stringbed. The V-Sponse polymeric material displays the lowest energy loss of all thermoplastic elastomers and provides the best dampening and energy return.

Volkl Tennis Racquet String Bed Technology - Big Grommets

Big Grommets
Big Grommets allow greater string movement for an increased sweet-spot. This results in more power, especially on off-center hits.

Big Grommet racquet technology, combined with the revolutionary Volkl tennis Catapult effect work harmoniously fro total playing enjoyment. Big Grommets can increase the sweet spot by up to 15 inches.

Tennis Racquet Shaft and Grip

Volkl Tennis Racquet Handle Technology - Bio Sensor

Bio Sensor
Bio Sensor is an active vibration system that provides unmatched feel and a 15% increase in dampening. Volkl placed a pin with a mass at the end of the handle with the possibility to swing against initial vibrations.

It eliminates vibrations, improving on the playability of the racquet.

Volkl Tennis Racquet Frame Technology - Power Bridge

Power Bridge
Featuring tried and tested DNX Volkl racquet technology, the bottom of the racquet’s head has been compressed into a thinner bridge for a more responsive string-bed.

With the implementation of DNX material into the bridge, the racquet becomes more stable and more shock absorbent.

Volkl Tennis Racquet Yolk Technology - Power Arm

Powerarm
Designed to be free-moving upon impact, the Power Arm is drawn back upon ball to stringbed contact. As the ball sinks deeper into the stringbed, the Power Arm-moving in unison-becomes energized.

At the precise time where the ball starts to leave the string-bed pocket, the Power Arm reacts - returning the stored energy to the ball so maximum power is achieved.
