Head Elite Pro tennis bag review

Head Elite Series Pro Bag

I got the Head Elite Pro tennis bag from Do It Tennis about a month ago and it has been a lifesaver. I play college tennis and I have been using the same huge Montercombi bag that everyone else has. It was just too big, especially when we have to travel. There are only eight of us, but there was barely enough room for us on the van, let alone our bags.

Since I got the Head Elite Series Pro Bag, three of my teammates have gotten one. We all think they work the best for what we need. The coaches bring water and there are usually orange slices and food provided, so all I have to bring is my racquets and maybe a sweatshirt.

There is one small pocket on the front for my cell phone and car keys. My IPod fits in there too and I think I could put more in if I had to, but I like to travel light.

The best part about this bag is the silver lining. It’s this CCT thermal material that they use in survival blankets. Even on the hottest days, when we had to go inland to Esco., my racquet stayed cool while it was in there.

The shoulder strap has a sliding pad and I can adjust it to be as long or as short as I need. There are also the grab handles in the middle, which I rarely use, but they are good to have.

The outside of the bag is nylon, but since I got the Elite pro bag, mine is a bright yellow on black. I can see it from everywhere I go on the courts.

I really like my racquet bag and it looks like it’s going to hold up for awhile. If nothing else there is a whole lot more room in the van now.
