It can be hard to find apparel that your junior boy tennis player will not only wear, but will actually play in for a substantial amount of time. If you’ve been at a loss for what to get your young male tennis player to wear during tennis practice, you’re in the right place! We have put together some tennis outfit options to inspire you.

1) Adidas Boys Adizero tee
This tennis tee has been seen on Fabio Fognini and other top tennis athletes. Your junior player will stay cool on the tennis court while practicing, and even feel stylish with his friends. They could live in this tennis shirt because of how comfortable and versatile it is. Of course they can wear it for more than just tennis, too.

2) Adidas Boys Response Trend Bermuda Shorts
Pair the cool graphic tee in #1 with a pair of graphic tennis shorts. These shorts are extra breathable and lightweight. More importantly, they have an elastic waistband with a drawstring - perfect for growing boys.

3) Adidas Barricade Team 4xJ Tennis shoes
Your junior tennis athlete will love playing in the Adidas Barricade Team tennis shoes. They have all the features of the adult Barricade version of tennis shoes. They have a lightweight mesh upper which means his feet will breathe plenty. There is also extra support and cushioning to help prevent ankle instability while they work on their balance, tennis footwork and hard cuts. With all that said, the Adidas Barricade Team junior tennis shoes are perfect for junior players that participate in leagues and clubs.  Last but not least, with all the running around they’ll likely do off the court, as well, there is an Adiwear outsole for added protection in areas that are prone to high-wear.

4) Adidas Boys Barricade Tee
For a more toned down look than #1, you can go with the grey Adidas Barricade tee. This tennis t-shirt has Climacool technology to wick away the sweat and lower body heat. Your junior player also won’t be bothered by seams (which can sometimes be a deal breaker) because they are bonded for added comfort. This reduces the amount of chaffing so they can focus on their tennis practices and matches, and play for longer periods.

5) LMT Classic Microfiber Shorts
You could never have enough plain tennis shorts for your young male tennis player. The LMT Classic Microfiber tennis shorts are inexpensive and would make good uniform shorts to stock up. It’s made of a 100% micropoly material which is similar to other athletic brand materials.

6) Head Revolt Pro Junior Tennis Shoes
Any HEAD fans out there? HEAD has made tennis shoes specific to junior tennis players’ needs. To better fit a younger player specifically, the upper is slightly different than in the adult version of the tennis shoes. Nevertheless, your junior player will still enjoy a breathable tongue and other comfortable features of the upper, similar to the adult version of HEAD’s Revolt tennis shoes. There is also improved durability from tough outsole material, as well as added traction from flex grooves on the bottom.

7) Prince Textreme Tennis Backpack
Lastly, your young athlete can store all of their tennis gear and even more in the Prince Textreme tennis backpack. This backpack is plain enough to wear as a school backpack and versatile enough to use on the tennis courts. It has cool details and features that they will surely like, such as the woven carbon fiber sections and special shoes pocket. It can also fit up to two tennis racquets, which is all junior players typically need. If your young player needs a tennis racquet, check out our section specifically for junior tennis racquets.

Now your boy junior tennis athlete can play in comfort and style. They can take pride in what they’re wearing and can play with some top quality tennis gear. That will lead to extra confidence on the tennis court, which then translates to more growth and better performance. Not to mention, you can put your mind at ease knowing that the tennis gear and apparel you buy them will last (at least until the next growth spurt).
