The Re-designed Head YouTek Racquet

After HEAD signed Novak Djokovic away from Wilson in 2009, they came out with the HEAD Youtek Speed series tennis racquets (Youtek Speed MP 18x20 and 16x19, Elite and Pro).

Although these racquets played ok, they did not fly off the shelves. I think part of this had to do with the similarities to the very popular YouTek Radical series (used by Andy Murray).

However, HEAD re-grouped, re-designed and then re-released the YouTek IG Speed series tennis racquets this year.  They play much better and the racquet is associated with arguably the best men's  player in 2011, Novak Djokovic.  He plays with the Youtek IG Speed 18x20, which is a great racquet.

The good news is that if you do not have the same strokes as Novak, the four other frames in this series are very forgiving and play very nicely.  The added bonus is that (in my opinion) they look great.  The black/white look is very sharp.

There is nothing better in your hand than a sweet playing racquet that looks even sweeter.
