Dunlop Biomimetic racquets let nature do all the work

Dunlop Biomimetic tennis racquets are modeled after the successful advances scientists see in nature. Biomimetics combines technology and natural evolution to create products, designs and plans that are far more advanced and efficient than mankind could have ever hope for.

Biomimetics has also been known as Bionics. There is a long history of shaping machines after animals. The airplane is the earliest and most well known example. The way all of this translates into the tennis world (and a huge thanks to Dunlop for their pioneering innovation) is that aerodynamics, spin control and power have all been increased as a result of some form of interpretation straight out of nature.

The aeroskin webbing covering the highest drag portion of the outside of the racquet reduces drag, increasing power. The cortex joints between the racquet head and handle act as cartilage that prevents erratic twisting and provides more precise control. The 3Dom/anti-friction grommet system is a combination of cushioning pods and sharkskin-like ridges that increase string freedom and power.

Dunlop Biomimetic racquets are still coming out with more additions and better combinations of nature’s most successful tricks. Knock your opponents off the evolutionary tree with the power of evolution.
