Question: Why do you need a tennis bag when you go play tennis?

Babolat Aero x12

Hans writes:

When I go to the local tennis club to play tennis (early in the morning, since I have young kids), I often get weird looks from other members. I kind of wondered why they looked at me with such dumbfoundness in their eyes. Then one of my basketball buddies came up to me in the locker room and said "Why do you have such a big bag to play tennis?" Aaah, now I realized the look. I use the Babolat Aero x12 bag. I can hold up to 12 racquets but I know only a few people that even own that many racquets. Most players that play on a regular basis use a big 12-pack bag for one main reason....too keep all their stuff in one bag. I use my tennis bag to hold 3-4 racquets, shoes, hats, wristbands, towels, overgrips, sunscreen and a change of clothes. This might seem like a lot but I live in San Diego where it is 75 degrees and not very humid. The players that live where it is hot and humid have double amount of stuff than me. You just need all this stuff to make sure you are not in the middle of match and need something that you forgot at home.
